I will tell you how to get the game uncensored in case that's all you want or want to try content mods later on.

Read Before Continuing


If you plan on making both the males and females uncensored, you can forgo the first part of the guide, and skip to 'The Patch (Part #2)' as it is not necessary. The kPlug mod offers both uncensores, and 'movable parts' for the females due to added bones in the naughty area.

Essentials


I'm going to assume you know the minimum basics of modding at least for the uncensored patch, and have the patch provided by Illusion.
  • Download Link.

First off you need to install the latest version of BepInEx. I will include them in the link, but if things ever get updated you will need to get them from the site. Make sure you use the correct folder for your operating system. x64 for 64-bit and x86 for 32-bit. Do not use both. After it's downloaded all you need to do is drag and drop it in the game installation folder.
It should be located in:
  • SteamsteamappscommonKoikatsu Party

This is the essential not only for this mod, but some of the other mods you'll find on the internet.

The Patch


After you're done with the BepInEx install next is the actual uncensored patch. Unzip UncensoredGirlModel.7z and navigate one folder deep until you see abdata and the readme file. You can drag and drop the folder into your own install folder, but I recommend that you make back ups of your original files if you ever want to revert back. After that drag and drop the Demosaic.dll into your BepInEx folder and you're done. The females will now be uncensored.
If you want the males uncensored and more gameplay choices/changes, continue to the next section.

The Patch (Part #2)


This part is a bit more complicated so I will try to explain it the best I can.
SeeUnzip the IPA folder and drag and drop into the install folder. After that is done drag the game executable, which is Koikatsu Party.exe, onto the IPA executable. You may see a black box flash on the screen. That's a CMD prompt box and shouldn't be worried about it. You should see some new folders in your directory. We'll need those in a moment. After it's done, unzip the kPlug folder and drag and drop it into the install directory. Say yes to all overwrites. After that navigate the mod folder to BepInEx/IPA/KoikPlugins.dll Copy this file to your Steam folder and paste it there:

It will help you get started with all the controls and gameplay features.
I will prove one feature here in case you don't want to use the first person mode and go back to vanilla H scene. Once it started just hit F9 to bring back the overlay and hit control + keypad 0 to go back to the normal camera. To revert back, hit F9 again and hit Shift for first person mode.
There is a rare bug where the game will hit an infinite loading screen. If this happens, hit LEFT alt + LEFT shift + Q. This will save the game and you can exit the game will your data intact.

You don’t have to manually install the special patch or mod the game to uncensor it, you can just use HF Patch to do it automatically and add a ton of new content along the way. This guide tells you what exactly it does, how to get it and how to install it.

About HF Patch

A patch for Koikatu and Koikatsu Party with all free updates (including the Special Patch), fan-made English translations and essential mods. It will allow you to load all character cards and scenes and give you countless gameplay improvements while still keeping the original, uncluttered and clean feel of the game.

All content is tested and fixed (or removed) as needed before each update, providing a stable platform for further modding. HF Patch can also repair many common issues, try it if you have issues.

HF Patch does not contain the full game, paid expansions or any other pirated content. You have to buy the game and expansions separately. You can buy the game on Steam. Until the expansions are localized and released on Steam, their Japanese versions can be bought here and here.

What’s Included?

HF Patch includes and installs by default:

  • Full uncensor with multiple different models.
  • Special patch.
  • Free updates for Koikatu, including Studio (with full fan-made translation).
  • Fan-made translations and automatic machine translations to fill in gaps in official translation.
  • Most commonly used plugins and pretty much all modded clothes, it allows you to load almost all character cards and scenes available online.

Additionally, it can fix a lot of issues with the game like botched mod installs.

Note that HF Patch does not contain the full game, paid expansions or any other pirated content. The full game needs to be already installed for the patch to work. If you want to use the VR module, also install it before patching!

How to Install It?

  • Install Koikatsu Party.
  • Install any preorder DLC you have* (except yoyaku and darkness).
  • Install Personality Pack*
  • Install Afterschool*
  • Remove Koikatu.exe and Koikatu_Data from your game folder if they exist.
  • Download latest HF Patch release from (here). You should get a single .exe file and 2 or more .bin files.
  • Install latest HF Patch.
  • Done! You can now start the game launcher as usual and you will notice some new options straight away.

Note: All things marked with * are paid DLC content for the Japanese version of the game and are all fully optional. So far none of it was localized, paid DLC content may come to Steam at some future date.

Special patch is included in HF Patch, you don’t have to install it manually. It won’t hurt anything if you have it installed already, the patch will figure itself out. Just to be safe you can verify game files in Steam before installing the HF Patch if messed with your installation folder before doing this.

I did not list Darkness and EmotionCreators preorder bonus because they don’t properly work in Party. You will get some of the clothes, but it’s just not worth it (and both of these DLC can’t be legally purchased anyways, so the point is moot).
